Celebrate the Sea Marine Imagery Festival 2004 has returned to KL – for a consecutive year – most unusual!!
It will be held at the National Science Centre at Bukit Kiara from 29th July – 1 August. Set to be the most exciting and important event in the region, the festival comprises photographic competitions, seminars, photographic workshops, static exhibitions, and non-stop marine documentaries.
There will also be talks by 30 foreign guest speakers like Dr Gerald Allen, author of the “Indo-Pacific Coral Reef Field Guide” and Emory Kristoff , veteran National Geographic staff photographer. The event hopes to motivate people to take action and preserve the environment through images. It’s a very good event not to be missed!!
MNS has been given an exhibition booth at the festival and we are looking for volunteers to help out at the booth. If you have a couple of hours to spare, please contact Siew Yeen who is co-ordinating and scheduling volunteers. E-mail her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
